An Introduction To The Wine Bar Furniture

Saturday, December 3rd, 2011

Wine bar furniture can add a certain class to a home, as the wine bottles look beautiful within it and the wine glasses do as well. These wine bars come in different styles, such as wine bar cabinets or rolling wine bars. Thus, the wine bar furniture can be matched to the style and décor that is found in any home. There is some wine bar furniture that is made to permanently be a part of the home. These are usually only used in homes where the home owner often gives dinner parties or wine tasting parties to large groups of people. The set up is often in the style of a bar in a restaurant, with the wine bottles proudly on display, a counter that people can sit at, and the wine glasses in another rack overhead. This type of set up will not work in the average home, however, so there are other wine bar furniture options that can be bought. For people who also want to know something about New Zealand wine, you can check online with IT support for information on wine NZ.

There are some wine bar pieces of furniture that are very small and can be neatly stored when not in use beneath a countertop or in a corner. These are usually rolling wine bars which are designed to be used on occasion by moving it next to the dinner table or other place where the guests will be enjoying the wine. These rolling wine bars will usually have an enclosed cabinet where the wine bottles and glasses can be safely stowed away until they are needed.  The top of this type of wine bar furniture is usually flat so that the wine bottles can be opened and poured from that station.

There are other wine bar furniture pieces that are larger and create beauty within the home as well as function. There are some that are made of wrought iron and have doors that are see-through so that the display of bottles and glasses can be seen from the outside. The back of the cabinet is often decorative, with spirals of grape vines running along the wall behind the wine bar. The top of these wrought iron wine bar pieces of furniture will usually be overlaid with glass so that the wine bottles can be set there after they are opened and the wine glasses can be placed there when the wine is being poured.

There are other wine bar furniture pieces that are made of rich woods like cherry or mahogany. These will also utilize glass in some cases, often in the doors of the wine bar so that the bottles and glasses can be seen for decoration. Sometimes the shelves in these cases will slide out so that the materials are within better reach, and there are often drawers to contain the wine screws and towels.

Where To Find Wall Mounted Wine Rack

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

If you are handy, and have always wanted a wall mounted wine rack, you  can easily build your own, cause this is indeed a very easy job to do.

You can make a wall mounted wine rack easily by using an old  kitchen cabinet. Purchase an one cabinet at a garage sale or perhaps use your  own old cabinet if you have one.

Simple  Steps to Creating Your Own Wall Mounted Wine Rack:

* Start by pulling out the door off of cabinet. Don’t forget to  take any brackets and shelves as well out of the cabinet.

* Find out how many shelves your wall mounted wine rack should  have by measuring the height of the cabinet.

* Use a saw to cut shelves for your wine rack. Make a back and front for  each shelf.

* You  need to drill 1″ holes to create the nect holders in the center of the board.  Find out how many bottles of wine will fit accross the width of that cabinet.

* You need to repeat step 4 for the rear shelves. This time use a  4″ hole cutter. These shelves will go in the back of your rack.

* Use a paint and stain to finish the  shelves and the cabinet.

* When your paint and stain is dry, then it is the time for you  to assemble the mounted wine rack.  To  mount the shelves in the front and in the back, you can use the brackets of  your cabinet.

* Once everything is in place you will be able to mount your wine rack  on the wall.

Put your favorite wine bottle in  your new wall mounted wine rack. Your friends and family will be impressed with  your creation, and you’ll feel proud of yourself. Perhaps you want to  celebrate it by drinking your syrah wine.

Pretty  soon everyone will be asking how you made such a gorgeous piece out  of an old kitchen cabinet. Who would think a new wine glass racks was actually made from  kitchen cabinet?
