If you use your imagination, you can transform your home without spending a fortune. Today, there is a vast range of products that you can choose from, even if you’re on a tight budget. There’s no need to settle for something that is just like what everyone else has.

One great way to make the most of the space in your dining room is to think round instead of square. There are many great round dining room sets that include dining tables and table coverings. You can seat eight at a round table and still have plenty of room to get around, even though the circular table takes only about as much space as a six seater rectangular table.

That’s one way thinking outside the box can enhance your dining room. Take another look at table cloths, too. There are as many round ones on the market these days as there are square. You don’t have to settle for just white or checkered. Why not buy several. Then it will feel like you’ve changed your entire room everytime you change your tablecloth.

In the bedroom, tempting as it might be, round beds aren’t all that practical. Still, there is a great deal you can do to transform the look and feel of your bedroom. Have you ever noticed, for instance, how quilt sets often seem to be too small for the bed? This is especially so in the wintertime, when you don’t want a draft sneaking up on you in the middle of the night.

If you’ve got a queen sized bed, why not look into king quilts? There’s no law against getting a quilt that’s bigger than the recommended size, is there? They look fantastic, too. There’s something luxurious looking about an oversized quilt. Sometimes, since king sized bed coverings are slow sellers, you can get them on sale for the price of a queen set, too!

Now take a look at that kitchen that’s looking so tired and worn. What can you do about that? As long as the interior is still intact, you don’t have to replace your kitchen. You can replace the doors, drawers and panels and have it looking new again. If you just can’t stand your counter top, replace that, too. When you’re done, you’ll have a brand new looking kitchen for about half the price.

Whatever you do, don’t forget to freshen up your home with a new coat of paint from time to time. That’s the cheapest and best way to enhance a room’s appearance.
